Scarborough, Western Australia: Horror as man plunges 70metres to his death from Rendezvous Hotel

A man has plunged to his death from a 70-metre hotel in a popular coastal area in Perth’s north.

About 9.30am on Saturday, emergency services rushed to the Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough after reports a man had fallen from the building.

He died on the spot.

The hotel is the tallest coastal building in Perth and is located approximately 9 miles from the central business district on one of the city’s most popular beaches.

The area is normally busy with locals and tourists dining along the cafe strip or exercising along the coastal strip.

The death is considered non-suspicious.
