SBS Insight: Woman hid seafood marinara ex’s car after she found out he was cheating

A fed up mom admitted she once got revenge on a cheating ex by hiding seafood marinara under the seat of his car.

Speaking on SBS Insight, Jacqueline Woods said she felt great after planting the seafood and even better when she found out he had been “driving around with his windows down for months.”

And after more than 20 years, it seems she was still thrilled about the scandal.

She explained that her scheming ex had “asked for a break” from the relationship, but that her best friend knew better.

“The break he had was with her younger student,” she claimed.

The girl in question was much younger, which infuriated her even more.

She went on to explain that she was even more triggered when, after the official breakup, her cheating boyfriend pranked her.

“He came to pick up some of his things,” she said.

In response, Jacqueline took the cap off a spray can, placed octopus marinara mix inside it, then hid it under the seat of his vintage car.

She explained that the chair was full of feathers, making it the perfect hiding place.

Jacqueline, who is now married with children, added that it was winter when she got her revenge.

Her ex, along with his young girlfriend, had to leave the house at 6am every morning to go to work – it was very cold.

The rancid smell of the rotting octopus was so bad that the windows had to be rolled down all the time, making travel unbearably cold.

“It made me feel great to hear that they were driving around with the windows down,” she said.

“He was miserable. It made me feel great.”

She giggled as she told her story – her grin was met with matching looks from the audience.

And many online turned out to be on Jacqueline’s side.

“I love what that woman did, and I also love that she feels good about it. You rock lady,’ said another.

Some took the time to share their own moments of revenge.

‘I really enjoyed getting rid of his tools, often giving them away, putting things on nature strips. I did keep the tools that would be useful to me,” said one woman.

“The best revenge I had was to call the girl he cheated on me with and point out that he was playing both of us. We spent hours talking stories and lies that he had told us. I made sure I wasn’t alone in the house when I confronted him and unraveled all his lies,” said one woman.

Adding: “He had an unpredictable rage so I wanted to make sure someone else was in the house at the time for my safety. It was so satisfying to see his face when I called him out and all his lies, disillusionment and gaslighting over months and months all came crashing down.”

She took a handful of octopus from her freezer and put it in his car where it soon started to smell

Others said people should take a calmer approach.

“The best revenge is when someone expects you to do something stupid, but you don’t respond. You move on and live a happy life and they can’t figure out why you didn’t do anything,” one said.

“The best revenge is to stay confident and become successful. And just wait for karma. Because it will happen. Sit back and live.. I never believed revenge works, added another.

Just shows emotional immaturity. Let him go! He did you a favor,’ said another.
