Saw X leaves fans HORRIFIED with ‘crazy’ eyeball vacuum trap – as viewers brand it the ‘most gruesome’ Jigsaw game yet

Saw fans are used to the torturous games and gruesome traps of Jigsaw, but it looks like the movie makers have taken it a step further for the tenth installment of the franchise with a new trap so twisted that viewers will find it the ‘most horrible’ game so far.

That excitement turned to horror this week, however, as Lionsgate dropped a clip teasing one of the terrifying traps that will unfold on screens in the tenth film: the eyeball vacuum.

In the clip, the voice of Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) can be heard admonishing a janitor he has tied to a chair while his eyes are attached to vacuum tubes.

“I’ve been watching you, and I don’t like what I see,” Jigsaw says before the sucking begins.

“There is a disease in you that must be banished,” he says of his victim.

As always with John Kramer’s Jigsaw, the victim has a chance to save himself, but at great cost.

“You have the opportunity today to save not only your soul, but your sight,” Jigsaw shared before explaining that the custodian had 60 seconds to use a machine to cut off all the fingers on his left hand.

The clip shows the victim writhing and screaming, “help me!” before turning the knob and cutting off one finger.

The gruesome clip shows him screaming in pain before stopping.

Filmgoers took to Twitter to share their reactions to the ‘disturbing’ scene.

“This looks disturbing but good,” one fan praised.

“Well this is upsetting, we’ll be right back,” another eager fan enthused.

Some fans were shocked at how ‘scary’ it was, while others said they were ‘going to be sick’.

“This actually looks so scary,” one person commented, while another said: “Oh, I’m going to get sick.”

Others commented on how “crazy” the eye vacuum was and wondered if they would be able to sit through the movie.

“I’m so excited for Saw X, but I don’t know how to deal with the eye vacuum trap,” another viewer shared.

Some fans of the franchise even went so far as to suggest that the eyeball vacuum is one of the “most gruesome” traps in the franchise.

‘This has to be one of the worst ways to go out! The Saw series continues to innovate with its death traps,” one fan tweeted.

‘The Eye Vacuum Trap is perhaps the most gruesome of all the Jigsaw traps.

I saw X coming soon,” another admitted.

“I watched that clip of the eye vacuum trap and it’s one of the few saw traps I’m even thinking about,” a third wrote.

Fans of the films compared this trap to some of the other most terrifying traps in the franchise.

“I swear I’ve never felt so scared of a fall since the pound of flesh in Saw VI,” one person wrote.

Another wrote: ‘There’s only ONE saw trap I can’t watch (circle of silence) and I’m prepared for the saw x eye trap to join the list’

While fans agreed that the trap was “horrific,” it gave them hope for the potential of the entire Saw X.

‘I hope the whole movie is like that. It is simplistic, but very intense and the trap is horrifying,” they wrote.

They added: ‘Are your eyes being sucked out of your face? That sounds like the most horrific fall we’ve seen in a long, long time.”

However, other long-term fans felt that while it may be difficult to watch, it is one of the easier traps that Jigsaw has created.

John Kramer’s Jigsaw is infamous for offering victims a way to “win” the game by completing a painful task – in this case, turning a knob to remove five fingers.

“Wait, all you have to do is break your five fingers?” they asked. “Is it just me or is that a surprisingly winnable Saw trap?”

‘Ngl seems like one of the easiest traps. You don’t have to break your own fingers, just use the dial with a healthy hand. I’ll be disappointed if that guy doesn’t survive.’

That’s why one fan called it the “low-key and easiest pitfall in the franchise.”

Many weighed in, saying they would turn the dial all the way to five as quickly as possible to break off all the fingers at once, to make the pain go away at once and preserve their vision.

“Okay, no offense, but this is as simple as five broken fingers versus whatever happens to my eyeballs in this trap? I immediately turn that switch completely,” said one user.

Another felt that the obstacles the victims previously had to overcome were much more painful.

‘Is it just me or is it a bit tame? He used to have people cut keys out of their skin without anesthesia, crawl through used needles, and so on. Breaking your fingers seems pretty easy so there must be more to it,” another claimed.

But as true fans know, there’s usually more to the story with Jigsaw. If they show the trap in the preview, things will probably go very differently than expected.

“The fact that they show so many traps makes me excited because they wouldn’t spoil so much if there wasn’t a lot being hidden,” one person wrote.

Saw fans will just have to wait until September 29 to find out.
