Save on Dead Space, Hitman, and more during Epic Games Store’s spring sale
Epic Games Store has a spring sales, just a few weeks after Steam wrapped its own. The sale claims to offer discounts of up to 75%, though the price cuts are much less steep for most games. Prices will remain in effect through April 20 at 11:00 AM local time.
We’ll list a small number of games we like below, but we’ll start with the most affordable to pick up. Dying Light: Enhanced Edition is free through April 13, and it’s a great freebie. Spending time in this parkour-enhanced open-world zombie FPS game is a great way to spend a few dozen hours alone or with friends playing co-op.

EA’s remake of the first Empty space isn’t just a next-gen upgrade with up-rezzed textures. Sure, the graphics Are great, but the sound design improvements and added accessibility options make this one worth playing whether you’ve mastered the original or are new to it. This one usually costs $59.99, but you can get it $47.99.
Hitman world of murder
hitman 3 recently become Hitman world of murder. The name change was a bit confusing, but it makes more sense since IO Interactive now includes all of the maps from assassin, hit man 2And hitman 3 in one package. Plus, it has the new (and really fun) Freelancer mode, which has brought many of us back into the game at Polygon. Normally $69.99, that’s it $34.99.
You can dive in Wild heartsKoei Tecmo’s take on the Monster Hunter formula (with dashes of Death stranding), with a considerable discount. The game makes fighting big bosses an engaging experience, thanks to the many tools and traps at your disposal. You may feel like you get it all Hades has to offer in the first few minutes. Then suddenly dozens of hours have passed, each one a delight filled with clever writing and difficult gameplay that becomes more and more nuanced and fun. It usually costs $24.99, and it’s an insta-buy at $12.49.
The less you know encryption before you play it, the better. It’s tempting to say that at its core, Inscryption is a card-building game, but in reality it’s a series of cleverly delivered unexpected left turns that make you as invested in the metafictional story as you are in the gameplay. We liked it enough to award it Game of the Year in 2021. Normally $19.99, this is another insta buy at $11.99.
