Savannah Chrisley packs on the PDA with boyfriend Robert Shiver as couple goes Instagram official: ‘Sometimes it just works’

Savannah Chrisley let the world know that she is dating former college football star Robert Shiver.

The 26-year-old reality star – whose parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are serving prison time for a $30 million tax fraud scheme – took to her social media on Saturday to make her relationship with her hunky boyfriend Instagram official.

The picture-perfect couple – who have reportedly been dating for a few months – looked loved up in the photo carousel as they held their arms around each other with big smiles on their faces.

Savannah looked fabulous in her cozy gray sweater as she packed on the PDA with Robert, who maintained a low-key style with a baseball cap and maroon shirt.

“Sometimes… it just works,” the Chrisley Knows Best star captioned the adorable album.

A source for DailyMail.com recently opened up about why Savannah and Robert kept their relationship a secret.

“Savannah has been seeing Robert for a while and didn’t want to say anything because she wasn’t sure if it would work,” they said. ‘She was afraid it would end like her failed relationships.

“But there’s one big reason why her past relationships didn’t work out: She only dated men who were with her because of her fame, not because of her.”

The source claimed that Savannah is “humiliated” now that she no longer has a number one reality show and has “changed” since her parents Todd and Julie were in prison.

‘For once she is herself and shows a man who she is, without the money and fame. In return, she is with someone who is with her for her. She is in love with being in love,” the source added.

“Everyone is hoping this works out for her,” the source continued. “She’s definitely changed in the last few months since they went to jail.”

The official Instagram post comes after Savannah recently spoke out about her former fiancé Nic Kerdiles, saying he sent her “signs” after his untimely death in September.

Weeks after the reality star asked Nic in an emotional Instagram post to “send me a sign that you’re okay,” she told ET last month that he had answered the call.

“I just know he would want everyone to live life to the fullest because that’s exactly what he did. He is just a wonderful person,” she added. “You should definitely remember those things.”

The Chrisley Knows Best alum went on to say that the tragedy has left her “sad and confused.”

“I’m doing well, but it was one of those very sad, unfortunate situations where it’s hard to get through,” she explained. “There’s anger and tears and everything that comes with that.”

Savannah continued, “This is the first real loss I’ve ever had to experience. I was young when my grandfather passed away, so in my adult life this is the first real loss I have suffered.”

Savannah went on to talk about the incredible heartbreak she felt after the tragedy that happened to her Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley Podcast.

“I can’t tell you how many people have reached out and told me stories about how Nic impacted their lives,” she began.

“If his passing teaches us anything, I think it is to love and love hard. And to treat people with so much love and kindness, because that’s exactly what he did. So Nic, I love you, you will be missed and you left a mark.”
