- Hearn revealed that Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could fight each other twice
The Saudi Arabian power broker who has been instrumental in bringing some of boxing’s biggest matches to the Gulf state has planned a ‘big’ show at Wembley for later this year.
His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has been a constant presence in the ring in recent years and his name has never been far from the lips of fighters and promoters following their high-profile clashes.
The Saudi advisor’s list of achievements includes bringing the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua vs. Ngannou fights to the Middle East, as well as the undisputed heavyweight fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk on May 18.
But his attention has now apparently turned to an event abroad and London could be the beneficiary of a mega night of action.
‘I’m talking, thinking and studying with Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn to do something big at Wembley in the third quarter as a commercial for Riyadh Season.’ He said.

The most recent high-profile fight in Saudi Arabia was Anthony Joshua’s emphatic victory over Francis Ngannou earlier this month
The news comes a week after Eddie Hearn revealed Joshua and Fury could sign a two-fight deal to finally face each other, with one of the fights possibly taking place at Wembley Stadium.
Joshua submitted Ngannou to two rounds in Saudi Arabia earlier this month and has now had three of his last five fights in the Middle East. A victory for Fury against Usyk could set up a fight against his compatriot.
“This is a gentleman called Turki Alalshikh, who is obviously a very influential figure in sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia,” Hearn said on The Sports Agents podcast.
“He’s also the biggest fight fan I’ve ever met. And amazingly, he’s now talking about hosting two Fury vs. AJ fights: one in Saudi Arabia and one at Wembley Stadium.’
Joshua and Fury have both fought at Wembley before and had some of their best boxing nights at the iconic venue.

AJ beat Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley in 2017, rising from the canvas to stop the Ukrainian in the 11th round of a back-and-forth match.
He returned the following year to knock out Russian Alexander Povetkin in the seventh round.
Fury also triumphed at the national team stadium when he defeated Dillian Whyte in 2022.
