Saturday Lotto winning numbers: Urgent search launched for winners

Sydneysiders have been urged to check their tickets with two mystery winners who have yet to claim their millions.

The pair each picked the winning entries from Division 1 in Saturday’s Lotto draw, sharing the $20 million jackpot, while eight others scored $2 million.

One of the tickets was purchased at an Ezymart in Crystal Street, Waterloo and the other at Kings Cross Newsagency, on Darlinghurst Road.

The winning numbers were 42, 35, 1, 43, 25 and 29, while the additional numbers were 19 and 31.

But neither of the two missing winners registered the tickets on a player card and left The Lott without any way to contact them.

A spokesperson for The Lott said he hoped winners would come forward soon to claim their prize.

“Our elusive winners are probably unaware that they each won $2 million in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” spokesman Matt Hart said.

“Imagine how exciting it would be to discover that you are now a multi-millionaire. Your plans for the rest of the year and beyond could change dramatically.”

Saturday’s draw also resulted in 94 Aussies winning a division two prize of $12,625.75 for picking five of the six winning numbers and having one additional number.

More than $21 million was distributed to more than 1.6 million Aussies who picked the winning tickets for divisions three to six.

It comes as the search continues for a West Australian who won the $30 million Division One jackpot in Thursday’s Powerball Draw.

The Division One prize pool totaled $30 million after two weeks without winners, with the sole winner securing the full amount.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 134 million, meaning players must match all seven winning numbers plus the Powerball in one game.

Lottery winners have been urged to claim their prizes within a year of the draw after an Australian lost $1 million in September.

The winning ticket was purchased from a BP in the northern Adelaide suburb of Mawson Lakes on September 27, 2023.

But the winner did not emerge with the winning ticket after a year and it was lost to the local state lottery commission.
