Saturday Lotto winner comes forward to claim $2million prize
A family-oriented lotto winner has revealed the first phone call she made after becoming a new multi-millionaire.
The woman from the Lake Illawarra region, about 100 kilometers south of Sydney, said: “I have to call mum and dad. I’ll make sure they have a seat at the table after her $2 million lottery win on Saturday.
The unnamed New South Wales resident was one of ten winners of the first division of Saturday Lotto draw 4515.
Each winning entry from the division won $2 million.
The winner was stunned when The Lott got in touch after initially declining calls.
“Sh**, I’ve been ignoring your calls all day,” she said.
‘I’m shaking. Oh my god, I can’t stop smiling and laughing.’
She said she had just checked her ticket and revealed what she would do with her new fortune.

The winner revealed that she will buy a house with her winnings to be closer to her parents. ‘We’ve always talked about it, but now it can become reality’ (stock image)
‘I can buy a house, but I don’t have a mortgage. I can’t believe it.’
She said she can now move closer to her parents, or they can move closer to her.
“We’ve always talked about it, but now it can become a reality.”
The ecstatic winner said it would be a slightly awkward conversation with her father about how she chose her grades.
“Dad won’t believe it if I tell him I won on a QuickPick because he’s been playing the same numbers for years and has never won anything like that.”
She was concerned about how she would keep the exciting news to herself.
‘Oh god. I don’t know how I’ll keep my mouth shut tomorrow; I can never keep secrets.”
