Saturday Kitchen viewers were outraged by guest Kate Carter-Larg’s outfit as she cooked up some macaroni and cheese on toast on this week’s show.

Kate, the owner of St Andrews takeaway The Cheesy Toast Shack, joined host Matt Tebbutt on the BBC show with her husband Sam Larg.

But her choice raised eyebrows among some viewers who felt it was too revealing for a cooking segment on a morning show.

The business owner wore a low-cut strapless burgundy top, navy blue jeans and a brown belt.

On X/Twitter, viewers wrote: “She put that top on to cook?!”

‘I can’t concentrate on the show because I’m afraid her top will fall down. She pulls and pulls at it as it keeps slipping away,” to which another viewer replied, “I know…inappropriate dress code.”

‘Wardrobe issues can certainly distract from the show itself. Hopefully it will be resolved soon so everyone, including her, can feel more comfortable.”

‘One guest dressed for summer’… ‘Did Kate just get back from a night out?’

It comes after Saturday Kitchen viewers previously threatened to ‘switch off’ after labeling Lulu as the ‘most annoying guest ever’.

Joined by Matt Tebbutt and Georgina Hayden, Genevieve Taylor and Jason Atherton, the Scottish singers, 75, left viewers less than impressed.

Lulu ruffled feathers by frequently referring to her age and how her grandchildren hold her hip.

She also criticized the seasoning Matt, 50, used on his chicken and randomly started singing a song called Music by John Miles.

On X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: ‘Jesus cried. Lulu is THE most insufferably annoying person to ever see. @ZaterdagKeuken’;

They wrote: ‘I thought lulu was very loud and obnoxious in the Saturday kitchen and why did she feel the need to keep mentioning her age?’;

‘Lulu on Saturday Kitchen and being absolutely insufferable as usual’;

“Saturday Kitchen Lulu is 75 years old, in case she hadn’t mentioned it. Scotland doesn’t love her, nor does Sheena Easton. Fake as fuck’;

‘I know Saturday Kitchen is open every week, but they can’t have enough guests that they have to have Lulu there, can they?’;

‘Lulu is responsible for the creepiest Saturday morning I’ve had in a long time. She’s 75, you know, and it’s all about the music #SaturdayKitchen’;
