Saturday Gold Lotto: Search for Toowoomba Lotto winners whose massive windfall remains unclaimed after five days

A Division 1 Lotto ticket worth more than $950,000 has gone unclaimed for days.

The News Extra store in Central City Toowoomba, Queensland, sold one of the 21 winning tickets from the $20 million Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4489 last weekend.

The unregistered ticket was purchased as part of a 24-person syndicate that netted $952,380.96.

Owner Tanya Talbot said the kiosk sold tickets to two winners of the syndicate’s first division and that the group also won “multiple prizes” in other divisions, bringing their prize money to $44,428.62 each.

“The first thing I want to know is that they bought a ticket from us. We sold two first division winners from that syndicate that night,” she told The Chronicle.

“They have to show us their ticket so we can see if they have won.”

Further north in the Sunshine State, a Yeppoon man, a fellow Division 1 winner, promised to give his wife a dazzling diamond ring and pay off his household mortgage.

“It just puts us in trouble,” he said.

Lotto Division 1 winner promised to give his wife ‘any diamond ring she wants’

“These things don’t happen to people like me and my wife. Usually, just when you feel like you’re moving forward, something comes along and you’re thrown back for a moment,” he told The Lott.

‘I’m going to give my wife any diamond ring she wants. She’s going to get a big rock.

‘We also share the prize with our children and pay off the mortgage with it.’

The numbers for last week’s draw 4489 were 4, 37, 45, 27, 11 and 20, with additional numbers 15 and 10
