A man who tried to break into a storage unit in Florida got a taste of instant karma when he comically fell through the ceiling of another storage unit while trying to escape.

Tyvarius Tygwyan Stroud Mattison, 34, was eventually arrested by police at SmartStop Self Storage in Homestead and charged with serial theft.

He allegedly robbed the home three times, stealing about $20,000 worth of sneakers. One owner claimed he stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of clothing and shoes.

“The way he exited my unit was basically like he was coming back for more,” the victim said. “He climbed in through the ceiling, used a cart or trolley as a ladder, and loosened the screws from above.”
