Sassy Ashley Roberts jokes that she looks like the eggplant emoji

Ashley Roberts was clearly in a good mood as she stepped out in a purple ensemble to work at Heart FM on Monday.

The 41-year-old Pussycat Dolls star teamed an off-the-shoulder top by Reiss with matching flares and joked on social media that she resembled the eggplant emoji, which is often used as a suggestive icon due to its phallic appearance.

She completed her look with lilac pumps and tossed a camel coat over her shoulders to leave work, loading her belongings in a white Balenciaga bag.

Cheeky: Ashley Roberts joked that she looks like the eggplant emoji when she left Heart FM while wearing purple sparklers on Monday morning

Ashley has been busy working on her health and fitness and also took to social media to share a photo of her gym-perfected abs in a sports bra and leggings.

The star has had a lot on her mind lately when a fan named Lewis Langley, 47, was found not guilty of stalking her on Thursday.

Defense counsel, Mr Hesham Puri, had previously summarized by saying that it is not disputed that Langley blew kisses or attended his workplace as claimed.

Teasing: He shared a photo of his full look from inside the studios while making the cheeky reference.

Stunner: Ashley also shared a photo of her workout gear showing off abs in another stunning social media post.

But he argued that while his behavior was bizarre, it was not enough to cause him serious distress.

Puri said Langley’s behavior was “unattractive, irritating” but did not cross the threshold to be “oppressive”.

However, Langley received a restraining order from directly or indirectly contacting Ashley.

Details: She completed her look with lilac shoes and threw a camel coat over her shoulders to leave work, carrying her belongings in a white Balenciaga bag.

She’s got it going: Ashley treated the pavement as her own walkway for her outdoor journey.

And he was also ordered not to come within 50 meters of Global International in Leicester Square.

Langley is said to have regularly ‘loitered’ outside Heart Radio DJ’s office building in Leicester Square, central London.

On one occasion, in October last year, he allegedly followed the former Strictly Come Dancing star as she was going to get into her car before blowing kisses through the window.

He is said to have regularly attended the DJ’s workplace early in the morning when Ms Roberts arrived, during a campaign of harassment between May and October last year.

On the way: He soon hopped into a waiting car after his radio stint came to an end.

He was known as ‘the martial artist’ by Global Radio security guards due to his habit of performing exercise routines that included high kicks, spot jogging and diving headbutts.

Ms Roberts told the court she “didn’t feel safe” and was left “looking over her shoulder” after being attacked by Langley.

Langley, from Thornton Heath, south London, told police he was in a relationship with Ms Roberts, whom he had made arrangements with via social media, but was unknown to her.

Langley was arrested in August last year, when police told Ms Roberts that he had mental health problems and believed he was in a “romantic relationship” with her, the court heard.

He was detained under the Mental Health Act but began returning to Ms Roberts’s workplace in October last year.

Appearing via video link, the Pussycat Dolls singer opened up about how she felt “very uncomfortable” about her behaviour.

“I didn’t feel safe,” she said. “(Her) behavior of him — looking, smiling, laughing to himself, blowing kisses — made me feel uncomfortable.”

Ashley said security measures were stepped up as a result of Langley’s actions and she is now being escorted to and from her car.

Prosecutor Alex Alawode said: “The defendant believed he was in a relationship with Ms Roberts, being a former member of the girl band Pussycat Dolls and currently a radio DJ in central London.”

She said Langley would attend the radio studio around 6 a.m. when she arrived and would wait nearby until she got off work.

“The defendant was caught on security cameras on several occasions and was seen performing exercise routines outside the building in the form of high kicks or running,” Alawode said.

Trial: It’s been a tough time for Ashley: Lewis Langley, 47, was found not guilty of stalking Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts on Thursday.
