Prince Harry’s former lover Sasha Walpole has described her “disbelief” that the Duke of Sussex ‘went into so much detail’ about losing his virginity to her in his book.
Mrs Walpole sparked a media frenzy when she claimed last week that Harry was describing her in his memoir Spare when he recounted how he had sex for the first time in a field behind a busy bar with an older woman.
In an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored airing on TalkTV last night, he opened up about their alleged meeting and said he wanted to “go into hiding” when the book came out.
Ms Walpole, 40, now a digger driver, said: “It’s been a bit of a hectic week, and I hope it’s a means to an end and I can go back, and get back on track, get back to work, drive my Bulldozer Hide under my rock.
She said: ‘I didn’t think it would hit the headlines like it did. At first she was a bit like, ‘no, just hide, she’ll be fine, she’ll disappear like she has in the past.’

‘Suddenly you realize it’s getting closer, your world is getting smaller. A lot more people are talking about it. Friends from home are being questioned, charged.
‘I was like, you know what? The only way to stop him is to just introduce myself and say it’s me.
“And then hopefully, the sooner it comes out, it’ll be gone and I can get on with my little life.”
Ms Walpole told the broadcaster she was “in disbelief, he went into so much detail because then it’s obvious who he was”, adding: “I suddenly thought, oh no, everyone will know and then next day next all messages started.’
On her privacy, she added: “If you want to live a private life and you want to get out of the limelight and leave the royal family, or if you want to live your life the way you want to live it, then sell a book and go to Netflix is like going against of what you say you want’.
In the book, Harry described the event of losing his virginity as an “inglorious episode”.
He recounted how one of the royal family’s bodyguards, Marko, visited him in late 2001 when he was still a student at Eton College in Windsor, aged 16 or 17, and told the prince that he had been sent to ‘find out the truth’. ‘.
Harry wrote: ‘I suspected he was referring to my recent loss of virginity. Inglourious episode, with an older woman.
He was very fond of horses and treated me like a young stallion. Quick ride, after which he patted me on the behind and sent me out to pasture.
“Among the many things that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub. Obviously, someone had seen us.

In response to this, Ms Walpole added: “The bad thing is we were two friends and it should never have happened.”
We crossed the line, it was never intentional, there was nothing before, nothing after. There’s nothing glorious about being drunk and then hooking up with one of your mates in a field.
On what Harry was like back then, he added: “He was charming, you know, funny, bubbly, he was just one of the guys.”
On the night of the alleged encounter, Ms Walpole said they drank shots of Baileys, whiskey and sambuca before going out for a cigarette.
She said: ‘He made the move. Yeah, I don’t even know why or what happened.
“We were having a cigarette and before you know it, everything was happening. She started kissing me and then before you know it, it was all happening.
