SAS Australia reveals more big names for the upcoming season after Craig McLachlan was announced as a star on the hit reality series.

SAS Australia will see boxer Anthony Mundine, former Roosters captain Boyd Cordner and Olympian Peter Bol star in the new series, according to a report in the daily telegraph.

Craig McLachlan has already been heralded as the main star of the series after being found not guilty of sexual misconduct.

Anthony Mundine is one of Australia’s best-known sports stars and one of the country’s most celebrated boxers.

Meanwhile, middle-distance runner Peter Bol, who finished fourth in the 800m at the last Olympic Games, was recently embroiled in a banned substances scandal with Athletics Australia.

He was later cleared on his B show of using banned substances.

It comes after Craig McLachlan was confirmed as one of the biggest stars of the upcoming season of the hit reality series, according to a report from The Daily Telegraph.

McLachlan’s girlfriend, Vanessa Scammell, revealed that he almost didn’t make it to the military-style show after he was rushed in for emergency surgery in December.

“Craig’s race against time to gain weight, gain strength and pass his fitness test after emergency abdominal surgery late last year was far from a fait accompli,” he said.

“He was so methodical and careful with his training after the surgery. The biggest obstacles for him were being able to complete the prerequisites for the course.’

Mundine was seen running up the sandy hills of Wanda in boots of steel in preparation for the show.

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson is also rumored to have signed up for this year’s SAS Australia season.

Other celebrities linked to the upcoming season include troubled AFL star Ben Cousins ​​and transgender soccer great Dani Laidley.

It would have been McLachlan’s first time on stage in five years after he dropped his high-profile libel suit against ABC, the Sydney Morning Herald and Christie Whelan Browne.

McLachlan is understood to have racked up legal bills of more than $3 million from the legal fight.

He intended to sue ABC, the Sydney Morning Herald and Whelan Browne over claims that he had touched, kissed and groped actresses without permission in the stage production of Rocky Horror, Neighbours, City Homicide and The Doctor Blake Mysteries.

He dismissed the claims of Ms. Whelan Browne and those of Erika Haynatz and Erika Scundi as “totally and completely false”.

He dropped the libel suit on the first day of 11 women due to testify.
