Oh baby! Sarah Snook continued to proudly show off her baby bump when she stopped by the Today show on Tuesday morning.

While Snook admitted that it can be challenging not knowing the gender, he said, “It’s easy too, you just lock it out.” Don’t overthink it.

Snook will return to small screens later this week as Shiv Roy in Succession’s fourth season, which will conclude after the end of its next installment.

Snook reiterated that the cast was unaware that the fourth series would be the last until a full reading of episode 10, however it had been hinted during filming that this would be the case.

“It was hinted at throughout the season while we were filming, they were like, ‘It could be the last, we don’t know,’ and then we found out during reading episode 10 that yes, it would be the last.’

Snook expressed surprise when he talked about ending the show in its heyday, calling it a “bold decision” to drop it now.

‘It’s a pretty bold decision to go out on top. I don’t know of any other program that has actually done that. Like, “Oh, we’re very successful, everyone loves the show, we love doing it. Let’s cut it.”

She also did not anticipate that she would be as successful as when she was first cast.

‘Not at all. No, it’s been an incredible journey and it’s strange that there are only four seasons because I feel like we’ve been doing it, we’ve been doing it since 2016. It’s almost seven years. It’s only been four seasons of that.

Snook, an Australian, also described having to tackle an American accent for the show.

“Sometimes it takes a little bit to get in and I know Matthew and I have certain days, because he’s a British surprise, we slip and slip a bit and there have been jokes about how we can’t say New York with an American accent.” ‘

He also gave his take on the epic Roy family feud.

When asked if he thought the Roy brothers would be better off fighting together with their father or if it was ‘every man for himself’, he replied: ‘That’s the point, it creates great tension and great drama.

Because we haven’t seen the brothers come together, so having a season where, at first, the premise is that they’re going to have to work together. That’s going to create some tricky situations.

Snook also reacted to comments made by Brian Cox, her on-screen father, who said he felt his character’s favorite child was Shiv.

Snook said she wasn’t surprised to hear that: ‘I’m the one with the nickname!’ she pointed.

She also described how her romance with her husband Dave blossomed during the pandemic.

Initially, the duo were just friends when they started shutting down together before their ‘special’ connection caught on.

“I got stuck in Australia and had nowhere to live, and I ended up living with him and it was one of those things where you realize, ‘Oh, we’re having so much fun. Like we’re having too much fun like we’re playing games, totally platonic, like living together.

‘And you know, there’s chaos in the outside world and is this really special? We’re having so much fun and no one should be happy that we’ve got another six weeks of lockdown, when the Prime Minister says, “Okay, we’re going to have to stay inside for another six weeks.” We’re like, “Yeah! This is going to be great!”
