Silverman took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to share a humorous clip of her dad enjoying a pool day.

In the video recording, her cheerful voice can be heard asking her father, “Hey, Schleppy, is it true you have a tattoo on your tushie?”

Her father smiled, “yes,” as he waded through the blue water with bushy eyebrows and white-grey hair.

‘You do?’ she asked again before her father asked, “Do you want to see it?”

‘Yes!’ she replied before nudging him as she pried, “What’s the matter?” What does it say?’

“It says Janice,” he said, pulling his swimsuit down just slightly to reveal his wife’s name in a heart.

In February, Sarah joked that US military recruiting is low because children already face the prospect of being shot in school, and so are less likely to voluntarily go into battle.

Silverman dryly attributed the recruitment struggle to “traditional hurdles” such as “young people don’t want to die or get hurt.”

“These Gen Z kids are like, “Why should I get shot in the Middle East when I can get shot in the comfort of my high school?” Silverman joked, one day after a mass shooting at Michigan State University that killed three students.

“I’m kidding, that doesn’t happen in America,” she said sarcastically, referring to mass shootings.
