Sarah Silverman slams Democratic Socialists of America over Palestine support and leaves the organization after being a proud lifetime member: ‘F**k you and goodbye forever!’

Sarah Silverman condemned the Democratic Socialists of America for its support for Palestine, following a deadly terrorist attack by Hamas on Israeli civilians.

The Jewish comedian, 52, was angered by the group, of which she is a lifelong member, after they blamed Israel for the attack, which killed at least 1,000 people, including 11 Americans.

“The DSA of which I am a proud lifetime member has lost me forever,” the star wrote, as she reposted their statement on her Instagram and branded them an “arrogant, ignorant, s**t bunch.”

“Fuck you and goodbye forever,” she also added in a comment posted below the organization’s statement.

The group’s initial statement read: “DSA is unwavering in expressing our solidarity with Palestine. Today’s events are a direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime – a regime that receives billions in funding from the United States. End the violence. End the occupation. Free Palestine.’

“Over 1000 slaughtered so far.” Girls raped over the bodies of their friends. These are children, babies, children, teenagers, old people, many of whom like my family march in the streets every night protesting against Netanyahu and the occupation.’

‘THAT’S WHO KILLED YOU BY HAMAS. knowing Israel will retaliate – do you realize they don’t care about Palestinian lives?????’

“I’m still a democratic socialist like my man, Bernie, who also, despite popular belief, has nothing to do with this fucking, arrogant, ignorant, scumbag.”

“I don’t like feeling this way and I don’t like acting this way, but here I am.” @demsocialists F**K IOU. You are not real democratic socialists and you are certainly not liberal.’

On another slide, Sarah showed the entire comment she left on the group’s original statement.

‘I’M SICK OF THE FACT THAT YOU CAN’T HOLD THESE TWO THINGS AT THE SAME TIME. AND YOU DON’T SAY “DO NOT LOOK AT THE OTHER PAGE!” Fuck you.’

‘Old men, babies, children and teenagers have bloody slaughtered you.’

‘THEY KILLED SOME PEOPLE MARCHING AGAINST Bibi AND THE OCCUPATION ALREADY A FUCKING PIECE OF ARROGANT S**T.’

“I know I’m not the best me right now, but 600 civilians in a country the size of Camden, New Jersey, slaughtered in one day and this is your answer.” Fuck you and goodbye forever.’

She finished: ‘DSA of which I am a proud lifetime member has lost me forever,’ the star wrote, as she reposted their statement on her Instagram and branded them an ‘arrogant, ignorant, ‘s**t group’

Strongly put: ‘Fuck you and goodbye forever,’ she also added in a comment posted below the organization’s statement

Interesting: Although she left the group, the actress emphasized that she is “still a democratic socialist”; Taken in 2022

A word of caution: She also reposted Moshe Kasher’s statement in her stories, warning against allowing groups like Hamas to dehumanize people

Wrong is wrong: “I hope I can always look at wrong tactics and say, ‘It doesn’t matter who employed them, it was wrong,'” the comedian wrote

Advice: “We must never allow ourselves, by sympathizing with one group, to lose all sympathy for another,” the statement concluded.

The School of Rock star also posted several videos and photos of the destruction in Israel to raise awareness.

She also reposted Moshe Kasher’s statement on her Instagram stories, warning against allowing groups like Hamas to dehumanize people and make them lose sympathy for each other.

“Hamas had the option to fight only IDF soldiers, to engage only in armed struggle against them – but that was not the tactic they used,” the first slide read.

‘They killed children. Not as collateral damage, but as legitimate goals, it was part of the plan.’

“And WHILE the news was coming out, literally WHILE the children were being dragged into Gaza, people were cheering, people were hesitating, people were twisting themselves into knots to justify what was happening. What do you expect from the profession? Not this.’

“Never, reading about an IDF military action that resulted in the death of innocents, did I think, ‘Well, the end justifies the means.’ It’s up to Hamas!” I hope to God I never will. I hope I can always look at the wrong tactics and say, “It doesn’t matter who used them, it was wrong.”

“We must never allow ourselves, by sympathizing with one group, to lose all sympathy for another.” When we do, we cross the Rubicon into dehumanization, ambiguity about the abominable, justification for what should never be justified.’

“Even if you don’t have goals, sometimes the goals don’t justify the means.” And you can only convince yourself of this by dehumanizing people until they become means to an end, rivals, not real people. This is not a team sport.’
