She said in the interview, “He has spoken publicly about this, but there were times when I gave him my day’s wages from a job I was working on so he had money to feed himself.
Sarah continued to share her joy that her boyfriend has become a household name, saying, “He’s part of some spectacularly successful stuff. But sometimes the show is the superstar in those situations. It’s very exciting to see him be the thing that becomes the superstar out of this.’
Sarah and Pedro met when the latter moved to New York to study at the Tisch School of the Arts, both hoping to make it big in Hollywood.
While the actress booked bigger gigs in the early 2000s like American Gothic and Jack & Jill, Pedro made smaller on-screen cameos,
But with a combined net worth of now $22 million, the two actors have certainly dominated the screens ever since — and Sarah’s risk pays off.
The actress went on to share her opinion that Pedro could become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, adding: “Everyone wants a piece of him… You just want him to succeed. And that to me is the sign of a great movie star.
She even shared her hopes that he would take on the leading male role in many romantic comedies, and suggested a remake of Die Hard with Pedro at the helm.

Pedro and Sarah have often supported each other over the years, with the latter recently appearing on Saturday Night Live to support Pedro during his guest hosting stint.
Hollywood sensation Pedro also recently spoke about finding fame later in life, describing the struggles he endured early in his career and admitting to getting “my ass kicked” while acting.
Despite often being passed over for roles he almost landed, he received good feedback from casting directors, which eventually persuaded his reps to continue working with him.
“I think that, and these delusions of self-determination and no real skill at anything else, have kept me going,” he told Esquire.
Early in his career, he thought it would all be “over” if he didn’t achieve major success by the time he was 29.
‘I’ve died so many times. My vision was that if I hadn’t had a major exposure by the time I was twenty-nine, it was over, so I had to constantly rethink what it meant to devote my life to this profession, and give up the idea that it looks like i thought it would look like when i was a kid.
“There were so many good reasons to let go of that delusion.”
