Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. kicked off the Halloween season at the Knot’s Scary Farm 50th Anniversary event in Buena Park, California on Saturday night.
The 46-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum and her 47-year-old silver fox – who met on the set of I Know What You Did last summer in 1997 – celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in impressive fashion on September 1.
Sarah and Freddie had a “fantastic time in Ghost Town” posing among the resident vampires at the theme park where guests can enjoy haunted mazes, attractions and sinister shows during Halloween.
Last year, Gellar and Prince Jr. dressed up as Westley and Princess Buttercup from Rob Reiner’s 1987 family classic, The Princess Bride.
The Daytime Emmy winner wore a black leather jacket with light blue wide-leg jeans and a white T-shirt and sneakers for their hot date.

Still going strong! The 46-year-old Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum (R) and her 47-year-old silver fox (L) – who met on the set of I Know What You Did last summer in 1997 – celebrated their 21st anniversary in impressive fashion marriage on September 1
Missing from the couple’s side were their 11-year-old son Rocky James and 14-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace, who may not have come because Knott’s Scary Farm is “not recommended for children under 13”.
Last Wednesday, Sarah revealed she underwent painful gum graft surgery in September to combat the effects of “aggressive brushing”.
“Now I’ve given birth naturally, and this surgery has knocked me down,” Gellar – who boasts 6.7 million followers on social media – wrote.
“So to be smiling like this now is a big deal.” That is all. Oh and take it from me, brush gently.’
The Long Island native is producing and starring as arson investigator Christine Ramsey in Jeff Davis’ supernatural teen drama Wolf Pack , which Paramount+ has yet to renew for a second season (likely due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes).
Freddie is currently the executive producer and host of two podcasts about WWE and horror movies – Mi Cultura Network’s Wrestling with Freddy and Wonderia’s That Was Pretty Scary.
Prinze Jr. will next voice Crumble Starsnaps in Build-A-Bear’s elf animated holiday film – Glisten and the Merry Mission – which hits US theaters on November 3 – alongside Michael Rapaport, Chevy Chase, Billy Ray Cyrus and Dionne Warwick .
Also enjoying Knott’s Scary Farm on Saturday was TikToker Noah Beck, who ‘survived the Chilling Chambers’.
