Sarah Michelle Gellar is a certified Swiftie and even asked for the day off so she could go to Miami to attend a show.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, 47, had already seen the show in Los Angeles during the early days of The Eras Tour.
At the time, Swift’s latest release, The Tortured Poets Department, wasn’t part of her show and Gellar wasn’t going to miss it.
So she told her bosses at production for Dexter: Original Sin that she really needed a Friday off.
She was asked if there was something wrong with her children, to which she replied, “I just have a Friday off,” before admitting, “Well, I’m going to Miami to see the Eras Tour.”
The I Know What You Did Last Summer actress admitted as much while promoting Dexter on The Drew Barrymore Show with co-star Christian Slater, 55.

“He knew this was all I cared about at work,” she said of Slater.
Gellar shares daughter Charlotte, 15, and son Rocky, 12, with husband Freddie Prinze Jr., 48.
‘So I have to see [that era]Gellar said. “And I saw Florence Welch in Florida [in Florida]. It was next level.”
The former soap star documented both shows on social media. She captioned the photos and video clips from her October trip to Miami with text from Taylor.
‘Florida!!! It’s great medicine.’
The Cruel Intentions star’s daughter Charlotte is also a big fan of Taylor Swift and met the pop superstar in 2018.
“I don’t often post pictures of my kids here, but last night was truly special,” Gellar wrote at the time.
“Thank you to the incredible @taylorswift for being so kind to Charlotte. She was so impressed that she could hardly speak.’

Thank you for being the kind of role model that young girls need to see,” she continued.
‘Oh and did I mention how great the show was?!? I can’t believe Taylor sang 26 songs, each better than the last!! Truly a #beautiful show!! (I definitely won major mom points last night),” she said.
Sarah’s confession comes after she had to clarify something she said about Jennifer Love Hewitt that was taken out of context.
She had an awkward interaction with a reporter when she was asked about the new I Know What You Did Last Summer movie last summer.
Sarah isn’t returning to the franchise, but her husband is, so she’s in a good position to know what’s going on with the film.
She said, “I have nothing to do with that,” before ending the interview by smiling and walking away at the red carpet premiere of Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel to the smash hit Showtime drama Dexter.
One fan posted the exchange on X, formerly known as Twitter, exclaiming, “Look at her face!! She hates her so much! sksksksk.’
Many fans followed suit and concluded that Sarah and Jennifer had a falling out.

After that clip recently went viral, SMG took to her Instagram Stories to set the record straight.
“Note: This deer-in-the-headlights reaction is perfect if you’re excited to see so many old friends in one project but have stupidly forgotten what secrecy means this month,” Gellar wrote.
She wrote the text over a photo taken of a director’s chair on the set of the sequel in Sydney.
The post came hours after Hewitt confirmed her return to the I Know What You Did Last Summer horror franchise after 27 years.
‘It’s never too late to go back. Julie James is coming back,” wrote Hewitt, 45, who included a chilling photo of herself on set.
The photo showed Hewitt staring into a dirty mirror covered in sticky notes left by the film’s ruthless killer.
Referring to the highly anticipated sequel’s release date of July 18, 2025, Hewitt concluded her caption with, “I know what you’ll be doing next summer!”
