The sitcom controversially launched last year without Kim Cattrall, one of the main foursome from the original series, as she refused to return for the new show.

However, it was successful enough to be renewed for a second season, which saw Sarah Jessica, 57, hard at work on Tuesday.

She was as stylish in character as ever as Carrie Bradshaw, a glamorous sex columnist who has branched out into podcasting on the new show.

Dressed in a gold top that sparkled under the restaurant lights, she accessorized her features with makeup and sported a luxurious blonde hairstyle.

Sarah Jessica was surrounded by a group of handsome men in the night scene, plus a woman sitting right in front of her.

Meanwhile, glimpsed only from behind, the actress appeared to be Sarita Choudhoury, who plays Seema Patel in the new series.

Making It Happen: However, it was successful enough to be renewed for a second season, which saw Sarah Jessica, 57, hard at work on Tuesday.

Seema was introduced last season as a tough-spoken, stylish real estate broker who meets Carrie through work but also develops a personal friendship with her.

As dinner progressed, Carrie could be seen laughing as she and a handsome blond gentleman sitting next to her raised their glasses.

When the spin-off series began, Carrie was still married to Chris Noth’s character Big, her on-off love interest throughout the Sex And The City series and the two films.

However, Big died of a heart attack while operating on a Peleton at the beginning of the first season of And Just Like That…

Shortly after the death episode aired, Chris found himself denying a series of sexual misconduct allegations that ruined his career.

Tragically absent from Carrie’s current circle on the show is her gay best friend Sanford Blatch, who was cast in a beloved performance by the late Willie Garson.

Willie died of pancreatic cancer last year at the age of 57, but was able to film a few scenes for And Just Like That… beforehand.

Rather than kill off Stanford, the show sent him to Japan to work, so in this week’s scene, Anthony is presumably still waiting for his return.

Premise: Carrie was left a widow early in the first season when her longtime love Big (Chris Noth) died of a heart attack suffered while operating on a Peleton.
