Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick exit The Savoy Theatre in London after their latest performance of Plaza Suite

Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick played the role of fan-friendly stars after their latest performance of Plaza Suite at the Savoy Theater in London’s West End.

The couple, who have been together since 1991 and have now been married for more than 26 years, had just wrapped up the show on Friday night when fans greeted them outside the venue.

Most people had programs from the revival of Neil Simon’s classic comedy and markers at hand, hoping to sign them.

Parker wore a big, proud smile as she walked ahead of her husband and made her way to the first fan who presented the program.

The Sex And The City star, 58, kept it casual-cool in the fashion department, wearing blue jeans tucked into her black calf-high boots, a heavy black hooded coat and a gray beanie over her long blonde locks.

Broderick, 61, followed his wife’s lead and offered his signature to the same programs she had already signed.

With temperatures hovering around 30 degrees Fahrenheit in London at the time, The Producers star also donned a gray hooded jacket and matching hat for their drive home, to match his black trousers and shirt.

Parker chatted briefly with the group of people, who had apparently just watched the performance and then waited outside The Savoy Theater to greet them.

The couple stayed outside chatting with fans for several minutes before saying goodbye and heading to their next destination.

Broderick and Parker were set to star together for the first time in Plaza Suite at the Hudson Theater on Broadway beginning in March 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of Broadway houses.

Ultimately, after the pandemic subsided, the couple reset their commitment to perform the play in March 2021.

In April 2022, the production temporarily halted performances after both Broderick and Parker tested positive for COVID-19.

The revival was initially scheduled to end on June 28, 2022, but its run was later extended to July 10 of that year to compensate for canceled performances.

As the temperature dropped to 30 degrees Fahrenheit, Parker was all bundled up in a black heavy coat with blue jeans and calf-high black boots.

This latest revival at the Savoy Theatre, which is considered a limited run, opened on January 17 and is expected to run for ten weeks until March 30.

The play, originally performed at Broadway’s Plymouth Theater in 1968, features the two world-class actors playing three different couples in one famous hotel room.

“Karen and Sam are a long-married couple whose relationship may come to an early end. Muriel and Jesse are former high school sweethearts who seem destined for a longer stay. And Norma and Roy are the bride’s mother and father, ready to celebrate their daughter’s wedding — if only they can get her out of the bathroom,” read the official website of the New York run.

Broderick and Parker are the proud parents of three children: son James, 21, and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, 14.
