Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon glow in colorful dresses as they shoot And Just Like That in NYC

Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon showed off some striking costumes when they were spotted filming And Just Like That in New York City on Monday.

The actresses were clearly in character as Carrie Bradshaw and Miranda Hobbes and, if their costumes are any indication, Carrie and Miranda were on their way to an event.

Parker, 60, wore a long, bright pink shirt dress with white boots. She carried a black and white zebra print tote bag.

Her signature long, curly blonde hair was down, voluminous and a bit wild.

Cynthia, 58, was equally colorful in a yellow top and a yellow, black, orange and white printed pleated midi skirt, which she paired with brown pumps and a brown belt.

Season three of Max’s Sex And The City spinoff began filming in New York City in May.

The new season is expected to premiere sometime in 2025.

And Just Like That… first aired in 2021 on HBO Max, with the second season premiering in 2023.

In August 2023, the show was renewed for a third season and at the time of the renewal, showrunner Michael Patrick King issued a press release.

“We’re excited to spend more time in the Sex And The City universe and tell new stories about the lives of these relatable and ambitious characters, played by these incredible actors. And Just Like That…here comes season 3.”

Earlier this year, Sarah also spoke briefly about what fans can expect from the third season and her character Carrie Bradshaw.

She explained as she stood on the Today Toon that season three has a “soufflé quality,” adding, “It just feels really wonderful.”

“So there will be layers and complexities and complications as there always are – especially in Carrie’s life,” she added.

SJP was also recently seen filming with co-star John Corbett, whose character Aidan Shaw has had a tumultuous relationship with Sarah Jessica’s character Carrie.

Carrie and Aiden dated in the original Sex and the City and imploded when Carrie couldn’t commit to him because of Mr. Big, whom she eventually married.

They rekindled their romance on season two of And Just Like That, but the season ended with Carrie and Aiden taking a break from each other.

Season three also features Rosie O’Donnell, Jenifer Lewis, Cheri Oteri, Mehcad Brooks, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, Alexa Swinton, Sebastiano Pigazzi and Dolly Wells.

Deadline reported that Karen Pittman will not return as Dr. Nya Wallace professor at Columbia Law School “due to scheduling conflicts.”
