Sarah Jessica Parker made a stunning confession during a interview with Extra TV to promote the upcoming season two premiere of the HBO Max series And Just Like That… on Tuesday.
And Just Like That… is the sequel to the iconic Emmy Award-winning TV series Sex and the City, which aired on HBO for six seasons from 1998 to 2004.
In the interview, the 58-year-old actress revealed to Extra correspondent Adam Glassman that her soon-to-be 14-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha have not been watching Sex and the City.
‘No, [Marion and Tabitha] have not. They turn 14 [on June 22]as you know, at the end of this month,” Parker told Glassman, who has interviewed the actress several times in the past when he asked the same question.
“Until now — maybe that’s unique given the complication of me being their parent — it hasn’t been something that has passed their viewing radar so far, and maybe it never will. I understand that,” Parker said.

In the interview, which was conducted virtually, Parker stated that while her twin daughters, whom she shares with husband, actor Matthew Broderick, have no interest in watching Sex and the City right now, the two are aware of its existence. of the show which has sparked some interest.

In the interview with Adam Glassman, Parker revealed that Season 2 of And Just Like That… will focus on Bradshaw recovering from grief following the surprise death of Mr. Big (Chris Noth) and reconnects with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett).
“I’m thrilled that Carrie can experience happiness and be curious again and discover life as a single woman in New York City.” Parker said.
Without giving too much away, the 58-year-old actress revealed that fans will experience a wide range of emotions watching the new season.
“It feels alive and joyful. And foolish and absurd. And sad, and sentimental, and romantic… When one resurfaces from grief, there is a chance to be more comfortable with joy.” Parker said.
Sex and City fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), who will make a guest appearance in the season 2 finale of And Just Like That…
In spite of the famous feud between former Sex and the City co-stars Parker and Cattrall, the former expressed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight her happiness in getting Cattrall shortly before the revival to celebrate Sex and The City’s 25 years.
“I thought it was a really good idea and I was really happy that, you know, we could make it happen and it worked for her and it’s just really nice to see. It’s really fun. I was very happy.’ Parker said.
