Sarah Hyland licked her husband Wells Adams’ tongue in a loved-up Instagram album she posted ahead of his 40th birthday on Thursday.
The 33-year-old actress, who rose to fame on Modern Family, married The Bachelorette alum in 2022 after a five-year romance.
She celebrated his milestone age this week with a heartwarming post full of throwback snaps of them enjoying each other’s company.
In one particularly striking photo, Sarah and Wells were seen touching tongues as they posed for a selfie in front of a scenic woodland stream.

Sarah concluded, “Thank you for being the most amazing husband @wellsadams. I love you +1 everything you say. To Pluto and back. Xx’.
Her album included photos of them making funny faces as they posed for a portrait in front of a backdrop, and for a mirror selfie in what appeared to be a hotel room.
“I like the third photo the best,” Wells wrote — referring to a photo of him dancing solo at a party while dressed in a Wild West costume including a cowboy hat and bolo tie.
“I love being married, it’s a wonderful thing to be able to find you,” Sarah said, beaming Access shortly before their first wedding anniversary.
“We’ve been teammates. Marriage is not only about love, passion and attraction, but it is also about how you work together as a team,” she explained.
‘His successes are my successes, my successes are his successes. My loss is his loss and I think that’s definitely something that maybe, because we’re married now, it’s subconsciously in your head.”
“Being married is just a lot of fun,” Wells said in a similar vein in an interview with Bachelor nation a few months after the wedding.
“I think the thing that a lot of people don’t talk about is the thing that you get next to a loving partner for the rest of your life, which is that steadfast teammate. And that teammate shows up in strange ways,” he noted.

“For example, if you’re too drunk at a party, your teammate might tap you and say, ‘It’s time to go. Come on, honey.’ There’s always someone behind you.’
He said: ‘That’s the most comforting thing about getting married. I don’t know how else to explain it. And now I have jewelry, which is cool!’
Sarah and Wells held their wedding in August 2022 at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California, after having to postpone the wedding due to COVID-19.
Their ceremony was a star-studded affair with a guest list that included her longtime Modern Family co-stars Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Before the big event, Sarah told Wells: “If I don’t see you crying when I walk down the aisle, I’m going to turn away,” she later revealed The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Indeed, a photo taken during the wedding showed Wells wiping a tear from his eye at the altar as his bride walked toward him.
Jesse took the lead, filling in at the last minute after Sarah’s TV dad Ty Burrell had to cancel due to what she described only as an “emergency.”
