‘I would hate for my children to be weighed. “I know what I was like growing up and how the wrong comments can come in,” she said.

“I’m not a health expert, but I had a very visceral emotional reaction when I read the story about it, because I know what it was like to be eight years old and be told I was carrying too much weight,” she says. added.

Sarah revealed that the way people talked about her weight when she was young had long-lasting consequences, creating her “complicated relationship with food.”

‘Restricting calories and exercising too much, it was just crazy. I’m 43 now, so I eat for work. I couldn’t do the work I do, the traveling I do, and run after two boys, trying to starve myself.

“You can’t run a car on empty… it took me a long time to break down that kind of conditioning that I put on myself after I got those comments when I was a kid,” the TV star shared.

Harris announced her divorce from IT specialist Tom Ward in March 2021, after seven years of marriage.

The former couple share custody of sons Paul, seven, and Harry, five.

It comes as viewers of The Project noticed a major sign that Sarah will return to the show in 2025.

The current affairs program recently shared a promotional image for the show to promote the coming year.

The image showed Sarah next to Waleed Aly, with the caption: ‘We hear you like your news… delivered differently. So see you in 2025 for more of the same!’

A number of regular viewers have posted on the Media Spy forums saying this confirms Sarah has re-signed to the news programme.

‘It looks like Sarah will be signing up again for another year. Hard to believe she’s been there for almost two years now,” one person wrote.

“It appears to be a new photo of Sarah & Waleed,” another agreed.

However, one person claimed that the image does not confirm that Sarah will remain on the show all year.

“In 2022 they had announced Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Hellier for 2023, after which they left, along with Carrie who had already announced she was leaving,” they wrote.
