Sarah Ferguson’s goddaughter has now married her bride in a lavish wedding celebration in Ibiza.

Eliza Dodd-Noble got engaged to Hannah Crockett in 2021. The Duchess of York, 63, gave her heartfelt congratulations at the time, saying: ‘Nothing gives my heart more joy than to see young people happy.’

The beloved couple shared a kiss in front of guests, with photos from the ceremony showing both wearing beautiful ivory dresses.

One of them described it as ‘a magical moment of love and pure happiness’.

Music producer Eliza, 35, and Hannah, 32, an American food blogger, looked blissful in photos from their big day.

Eliza’s aristocratic father, Paddy Dodd-Noble, is a close friend of Sarah’s. And Eliza and her sister, Daisy, are buddies to her daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.

Although the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – affectionately known as Fergie – blessed the union, earlier this year she was “a little confused” that she was not at the civil ceremony in March.

Sarah was so elated that her goddaughter was engaged to her friend, she claimed she had already secured “a seat” at the wedding.

The Mail on Sunday’s Diary Editor Emily Prescott revealed that Eliza’s godmother then apparently feared that the wedding had taken place without her attending the civil ceremony.

Fortunately, it turned out that the Duchess of York was not snubbed after all. A source close to the newlyweds said the nuptials were just the legal wedding ceremony and that the larger four-day celebration, which Fergie was reportedly invited to, took place in Ibiza.

Eliza, who proposed to American Hannah in July 2021 at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, is half of the electronic music duo Eli & Fur, along with fellow DJ Jennifer Skillman.

“She said yes,” Eliza gushed at the time.

No doubt married life will satisfy Eliza’s appetite: Hannah is a passionate foodie and runs a recipe blog, The Simple Seagan, which she describes as “recipes for the vegan who sometimes eats seafood.”

Eliza’s aunt, Fiona Dodd-Noble, also said delightedly, “We’re very happy.”

Given their illustrious credentials — they’ve starred in several Christian Dior runway shows and collaborated with fashion brands such as Stella McCartney and The Kooples — there seems little doubt that the ongoing Spanish fling was a weekend of partying.

It comes as an excited Sarah dropped her daughter Eugenie’s due date last week — and it’s extremely close.

The 33-year-old princess, who welcomed her first son August two years ago, announced in January that she is expecting a second child with husband Jack Brooksbank.

However, she didn’t reveal the exact date she’s expecting her new addition — simply writing on Instagram, “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.”

Now it seems that her mother has revealed that the baby is expected in the next few days.
