She’s been persona non grata among the royals for years, but unexpectedly the Duchess of York has been welcomed back into the family fold.

Last month, a source told MailOnline that Fergie had been unexpectedly welcomed back into the family fold.

A source said: ‘Camilla likes Sarah. Both are noble. They share a love of horses and Fergie will be smart enough to play Camilla and realize that she is the power behind the King. That she should be kind to them and support them.

The connection was strengthened over Christmas after Fergie was surprisingly welcomed to join the family for traditional celebrations at Sandringham.

For years, her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, would take their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, to the celebrations, leaving Sarah out in the cold.

This year, however, the Duchess was invited not only for Christmas lunch, but also for the next day’s shoot.

Just this week, Fergie was spotted out on the town with her eldest daughter, Beatrice, in the London borough of Mayfair.

The royals cut a fancy pair; while Beatrice opted for a burgundy dress with black leather ankle boots and grabbed a favorite Gucci bag that the princess had been spotted wearing on previous nights in the capital.

Meanwhile, her mom opted for a striking white jacket with gold buttons and a knee-length LBD, tying her fiery red locks into a loose ponytail.

Clearly enjoying a girls’ night out, there was no sign of Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, with whom she shares their one-year-old daughter, Sienna Elizabeth.

Fergie will become a grandmother for the third time this summer when her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, 32, welcomes her second child with financial husband Jack Brooksbank.
