Sara Haines WALKS OFF The View after Whoopi Goldberg makes risqué comment
Whoopi Goldberg’s 69th birthday celebration on The View took an unexpected turn when her co-host Sara Haines walked out after the star made a risqué comment.
The EGOT winner was busy promoting some of her favorite products on the daytime talk show, including a large cheese wheel with her face on it.
Whoopi gave the cheese a kiss, while Sara, 47, told the audience: “I always wanted my face on cheese.”
The Sister Act star — who recently shared that she can’t afford to retire from The View — replied, “Yes, I like to be eaten every now and then.”
The ironic comment prompted the shocked television presenter to jokingly walk off the set.

The audience burst into laughter as Whoopi looked around with a mixture of surprise and amusement.
Haines then returned to the stage and gave Whoopi a hug.
‘Never mind!’ Whoopi joked as she dismissed the joke with a wave of her hand.
The atmosphere remained light as Whoopi chuckled as he continued to describe the cheese.
“This is a wheel of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy, and this has been aged for 24 months and it is a testament to Italian tradition and quality,” she said.
“So if you want a chance to win a wheel like this…” Whoopi continued, before Haines interjected with “and eat Whoopi Goldberg!”
Whoopi – who claimed elsewhere in the show that a bakery refused to serve her due to political views – laughed and replied: ‘That’s right! No – and eat yourself! Because you put your own face on it.’
It comes after Whoopi revealed she is “struggling” financially and can’t afford to retire from The View.
“If I had all the money in the world, I wouldn’t be here, okay? So I’m a working person, you know? she told the audience on the Nov. 12 episode of the CBS talk show.

Goldberg’s most recent salary is currently unknown, but in 2016 it was reported to be between $5 and $6 million.
‘I appreciate that people are having a hard time. Me, too. I work for a living,” Goldberg said after a discussion about Donald Trump’s second presidency and all the working-class Americans who voted for him.
She explained, “My child has to feed her family. My great-granddaughter needs to be fed by her family. I know it’s hard there.’
“We talk to people all the time who say, ‘This is what’s bothering me.’ But what bothers everyone shouldn’t be the thing that endangers 85% of other people. I think that’s what we’re saying,” she explained.
The comments come after grocers became angry with the Ghost star after she called them ‘pigs’ over rising food prices.
“The people who do the shopping are pigs,” she said, blaming them for rising supermarket prices during last Thursday’s show.
“Your wallet is bad not because the Bidens did anything. Not because the economy is bad. Your grocery bills are what they are because the people who own the groceries are pigs,” Goldberg said.
Meanwhile, The Color Purple actress continues her pledge to never say Trump’s name, which has been her motto since he was first elected in 2016.

After his win last week, Goldberg said, “That’s not going to change.”
Goldberg discussed the election results with her co-hosts and expressed her disappointment that “people didn’t come out” to vote for Kamala Harris.
In 2018, Goldberg admitted that she never says Trump’s name, telling CNN’s The Ax Files that she “can’t” bear to say it or call him “president.”
But her co-host Sunny Hostin, 56, went a step further and blamed white women and Latino men.
