“It is with great sadness that we announce that Bryan Randall passed away peacefully on August 5 after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family told People.
“Bryan chose early on to keep his journey with ALS private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”
“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this disease with us and the amazing nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” the family statement continued.
“At this time, we ask for privacy to mourn and to accept the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.” The statement was signed by ‘His Loving Family’.
There is no cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis – ALS – and the disease is deadly, but it progresses at different rates in patients.
