Sandra Bullock smiles again on sweet spin with daughter Laila, 11, in LA… three months after devastating death of partner Bryan Randall

Sandra Bullock was pictured smiling as she spent time with her daughter Laila as they took a drive in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Oscar winner, 59, sat behind the wheel of her black Range Rover as she drove through the streets alongside her 11-year-old daughter.

The Blind Side star wore aviator sunglasses and gold hoop earrings for the ride, with her brown locks brushed back.

Bullock has two adopted children – with Laila she is also mother to son Louis, 13.

The ride takes place more than three months after the death of her longtime partner Bryan Randall. Randall died on August 5 at the age of 57 after a three-year private battle with ALS.

The couple had been in a relationship since 2015.

The Hollywood actress first met Bryan – a model turned photographer – in 2015 after he photographed her son Louis’ birthday. It came five years after her messy divorce from Jesse James.

Late last month, Sandra was spotted for the first time since the tragic loss when she and Laila stepped out in Los Angeles.

The Speed ​​star held her youngest child’s hand and lovingly kissed her on the head as they walked with a bodyguard.

In Sandra and Bryan’s last public sighting together in July 2020, the former model was pictured gazing adoringly at his love as they arrived at an intimate gathering in Studio City with her two children.

“It is with great sadness that we share that Bryan Randall passed away peacefully on August 5 after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family told PEOPLE.

“Bryan chose early on to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

“We are deeply grateful for the tireless physicians who have navigated the landscape of this disease with us and for the amazing nurses who have become our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” the continued family statement.

“At this time, we ask for privacy to grieve and come to terms with the inability to say goodbye to Bryan.” The statement was signed by ‘His Loving Family.’

Randall’s family has requested donations to the ALS Association and Massachusetts General Hospital in lieu of flowers, according to People.

There is no cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and the disease is fatal, but patients progress at different rates.

People with ALS are expected to live for two to five years after symptoms first manifest, although 10 percent of patients live for at least 10 years. In some countries the disease is also known as motor neurone disease.

The disease is also called Lou Gehrig’s disease, after the American baseball player when he was diagnosed in 1939 at the age of just 36.

The couple had no children together, but Bullock has two adopted children and Bryan has an adult daughter named Skylar from a previous relationship.

Sandra and Bryan started dating several months after first meeting and even attended Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding that same year.

The actress was in the process of adopting her second child when things got serious with Bryan.
