According to NFL insider Mike Florio, the 49ers will “kick the bucket” of the Ravens when the two best teams in the NFL meet on Christmas Day.

The game in California promises to be the highlight of the NFL's triple-header on Dec. 25, when the leaders of the AFC and NFC – both 11-3 – face off.

Many have predicted the game will be a preview of this season's Super Bowl, with San Francisco and Baltimore both backed to go all the way to Las Vegas in February.

The 49ers have won their last six games – including a big win over the Philadelphia Eagles – while Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have been impressive all season.

But Florio thinks there's no way the Ravens can win in Santa Clara and is backing the 49ers to dominate the game.

In making his predictions for the week, the NBC Sports host said, “The 49ers are kicking the hell out of the Ravens.

“I'm sorry, I know this is disrespectful to the Ravens, but let's be realistic

“They have to fly across the country on Christmas night and the 49ers are waiting.

“And the 49ers are going to dismantle the Ravens. If it's a preview of the Super Bowl, the Super Bowl is going to suck.”

Florio's prediction comes days after several Ravens players claimed they felt disrespected because they are the massive underdogs in the game.

“I don't want them to pick us,” Jackson said.

'I like being the underdog. I believe we play better when we are doubted [when] people don't choose us to win the game.

“I feel like we're playing better and better, so just do it through February. That's all I ask.'

“It makes us feel a little disrespected,” Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton said.

“I feel like we are the best team in the league, and we have an opportunity for the country to show that.”

Teams listed as underdogs have won the last seven games on Monday Night Football, which is the longest streak in the history of the primetime slot.

However, those in Baltimore are confident this streak will continue for at least another week.

“I bet on us 10 times out of 10,” Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith said. “I don't really care about other people's opinions.”
