Hoping to reverse the result of Super Bowl LIV four years ago, the San Francisco 49ers touched down in Las Vegas on Sunday for Super Bowl LVIII.

The 49ers will once again play the NFL championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs after a 31-20 loss to Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and co. in February 2020.

Some of San Francisco’s integral players were part of that loss, including Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk.

The team drafted Brock Purdy and has since also traded for Christian McCaffrey and Chase Young.

Back in San Francisco, hundreds of fans showed up in the pouring rain to watch the team bus leave for the airport.
