Hollywood megastar Samuel L Jackson will feel the power from both sides of Glasgow, after posing this weekend wearing both Rangers and Celtic jerseys for the Old Firm derby.

The Pulp Fiction and Star Wars star is currently in Scotland filming his latest project, a movie titled Damaged, which sees a serial killer on the loose in the country.

While taking in all that Scotland has to offer, Jackson gears up for this week’s Old Firm clash between the two Glasgow giants Rangers and Celtic.

Last month, the 74-year-old took time out from shooting to pose wearing a Rangers shirt in his trailer. Complete with frontman Scott Wright’s jersey number 23, the A-lister signed the famous blue shirt and gave it away as part of a contest in partnership with the Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation and Kilbryde Hospice.

However, seeing Jackson hold the Rangers shirt didn’t sit too well with his Damaged co-star Gianni Capaldi, a huge fan of Glasgow’s other half.

Before the match at Parkhead, Capaldi tweeted an image of himself and co-star Jackson wearing tracksuits from the reigning Scottish champions.

Capaldi wrote alongside the image, “Unleash the FURY. Come on @CelticFC. Big love from @OfficialGianni & a Jedi from the set of #Damaged.’

The photo would suggest that Jackson has done the unthinkable and changed his allegiance from blue and green and white hoops — a dramatic twist befitting his Hollywood royalty.

It is not the first time that the Avengers actor has expressed his support for a famous football club. Jackson is said to have been a Liverpool supporter since he filmed 51st State in the City in 2001 and called the Reds his ‘first love’ when it came to football.

Rangers go into the game still seven points behind Ange Postecoglou’s men, with boss Michael Beale looking for his first Old Firm win as manager.
