Another day, another Samsung Galaxy leak. This time, notable industry leaker Evan Blass posted new high resolution photos of two pairs of Galaxy Buds and two Galaxy Watch models on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter).
The images reveal no new information. Instead, they serve two important functions: first, they confirm details that emerged in previous rumors, and second, they show just how much of an inspiration Apple was to Samsung in developing these products.
If 9to5Google points out that Samsung appears to have taken several cues from its tech rival. The Galaxy Buds 3, for example, look incredibly similar to AirPods, with an open-top design, a monochromatic body, and a long stem that protrudes from the main body. This lines up with a June 21 report that first mentioned the stem . There are, however, a few defining features that set the Buds 3 apart from the AirPods.
The Galaxy Buds 3′ stem reportedly has a black divider in the middle and blue and orange accents on the bottom to indicate which bud goes in the left ear and which goes in the right ear. It’s a small touch, but it does give the monochrome devices a nice flair.
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, on the other hand, stick to a more traditional look, reportedly still retaining the silicone tip found in previous generations.

When it comes to wearables, you’ll notice that the Galaxy Watch Ultra is similar to the Apple Watch Ultra 2, with a few differences. The watch face is square, although Samsung’s device is more round, and the power button on the side has a striking orange accent.
Additionally, the spring-loaded connector that attaches the band to the watch face has been replaced with a new system that, as you can probably guess, resembles the mechanism found on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Even the wristband looks a lot like it, with a vibrant shade of orange adorning the ribbed design.
Like the Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch 7 sticks closely to the Galaxy Watch 6. The spring-loaded pin connector is back, the watch face is still round, and silver makes a return as a color option, though there will be a new color scheme at launch – olive green. This device also gets blue and orange accents throughout, with the Ultra model just getting orange markings.
Samsung’s next Unpacked event kicks off on July 10th, and we expect the wearables and earbuds to make their official debut on the big day, alongside the long-awaited Galaxy Ring. Stay tuned for more coverage.
