Samsung is expanding its Self-Repair program to 16 additional devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.

This is the first time that Samsung foldable smartphones have been made repairable and will be one of the few foldable smartphones supported by iFixit alongside the Pixel Fold. At the time of writing this article, it is unknown what parts will be available through the service, although the company hinted in its announcement that users will be able to repair the screen, speakers, and charging ports, among other things. Pricing also remains a mystery, but we don't think it will be cheap.
