Where most vacuums tend to prioritise function over style, the new Samsung Bespoke Jet Pro Extra Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum is boldly stylish, boasting aesthetics as well as features that promise to give deep, thorough cleaning.
Promising style and substance, the Jet Vacuum stands out in the saturated vacuum market thanks to its all-in-one clean station that takes the hassle out of charging and emptying the dustbin. While it may look beautiful, is it worth the hefty £749 price tag?
How we tested it
We used the Samsung Bespoke Jet Pro Extra Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum over thin and thick pile carpets and various hard floors, including floorboards, laminate and tiles.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet Pro Extra Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum offers an impressive 210W suitable for all floor types.
The vacuum comes with an all-in-one cleaning station that easily and hygienically empties the dustbin, while also recharging the battery.
Ideal for those with allergies, the multi-layered filtration system traps 99.999 per cent of dust to boost your air quality.
Design
At first glance, the new Samsung Bespoke Jet Pro Extra Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum may appear intimidating with a futuristic all-in-one clean station and 12 cleaning parts.
The clean station definitely separates it from traditional models and promises users an easy way of emptying and charging the vacuum. It’s not light, weighing a hefty 6.7kg which some might struggle to move around, however the vacuum itself weighs 2.7kg.
Design-wise there’s a lot to offer; you can even turn your Samsung Jet Vacuum into a mop thanks to the Spray Spinning Sweeper head.
More traditionally, there are three vacuum heads, including a Jet Dual Brush, Pet Tool and Combination and Crevice Tool. A stand-out accessory was the spare battery pack (boasting 60 minutes of cleaning time each) which we believe to be invaluable should you have a larger house.
The sleek stick vacuum cleaner delivers a powerful, hygienic cleaning experience with its All-in-One Clean Station and up to 210W suction power
Features
The all-in-one cleaning station is undoubtedly the Bespoke Jet’s USP. Keeping the kit altogether, the docking station keeps things looking tidy whilst charging and emptying the contents too.
That being said, it practically demands a spot in plain view that shoppers with smaller homes might not want or need.
With a suction power of 210 Watts and rotating 135,000rpm, the vacuum packs a punch and is perfectly suited to deep cleans, efficiently trapping fine dust as well as larger debris on carpet and hard floors.
We enjoyed the LCD digital display that allows you to check which suction level you’re using, how much charge you have, and even gives you troubleshooting alerts.
As a bagless and cordless stick vacuum, it’s easy to manoeuvre around, however we did find the telescopic pipe was a little short, and while not a problem for us, someone taller might find it frustrating.
It’s also a sensible option for allergy sufferers thanks to the multi-layered filtration system that traps 99.999 per cent of dust to boost your air quality.
The Bespoke Jet features an all-in-one clean station, which keeps a user’s space hygienic while cleaning. When docked, it’s able to empty its dustbin automatically without any fine dust escaping
Performance
Bagless, wire-free and surprisingly light – the handheld body weighs just 1.44kg – the Samsung Bespoke Jet Vacuum definitely delivers an advanced cleaning performance.
Thanks to the Jet Dual Brush, it works seamlessly on carpets and hard flooring, and while it doesn’t automatically adjust to accommodate different flooring like some high-end vacuums, the three settings (min, mid and jet) are easy to use.
While each battery pack contains 60mins of cleaning, each successive cleaning mode demands more battery power which we found to drain quite quickly – however, if you keep the jet mode for targeted cleans, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Getting underneath furniture was made easy thanks to the flexible head, while the Jet boost mode wowed us with its excellent pick-up on all surfaces.
