Samantha Armytage makes telling joke about her husband Richard Lavender on Farmer Wants A Wife: ‘Completely opposite romantic’
Samantha Armytage shared a rare insight into her marriage on Monday’s episode of Farmer Wants A Wife.
The television host introduced Farmer Sam when he said he’s “not a big talker” and Sam understood.
My friends would say I’m the opposite of romantic. But things can change and I’m sure they will,” said Sam.
“You sound like my husband!” Sam joked with a laugh, suggesting that Richard also tends to be quiet and not much of a romantic.
It comes after the millionaire equestrian businessman revealed that his TV presenter wife was looking for a change when they met and started their romance.

“A lot has been said about that sort of thing, but honestly I think she was just looking for something different when she met me,” Richard tells me in this week’s issue Stellar.
“She has always been a happy person while I was with her,” he continued.
“We have enjoyed what lies ahead. It’s been really good. She’s a country girl, so it wasn’t much of an adjustment.”
Samantha agreed that she was “lucky” to meet Richard as the pair took part in the joint interview.
