The couple went public in 2019 when Sam revealed that they started dating after she sent him a direct message on social media.
Zara told MailOnline in July of that year: “We met a year and a half ago at an event before I was on Love Island.” He doesn’t remember he was drunk! We talked on Instagram three or four months ago and here we are.

“It was great as I had the courage to ask her out, we went on our first date about three months ago.” Since the time she slipped into my DMs, we haven’t talked every day.
It comes after Sam pulled a vicious prank on Zara that left her in tears earlier this week.

In a fun clip shared on Instagram, Sam could be seen surprising his girlfriend by putting a strip of wax on her face.
‘What are you doing?’ she asked, before reality kicked in and she started holding back tears.
‘It’s okay!’ Sam said. Prompting a furious Zara to yell, ‘No! You don’t understand what you’ve done, things like this aren’t fucking funny!’
‘This is permanent, I’m not going to have eyebrows for Christmas!’
Sam couldn’t hold back his laughter any longer and admitted, ‘It’s just duct tape!’
