Sharing a cheeky photo of the couple backstage during the show, Sam thanked Madonna for supporting them.

The Like A Prayer singer added height to her frame with a pair of black boots while also brandishing a riding crop, in keeping with her raunchy image.
Sam wore an open red silk shirt along with a matching pair of pants, adding to her look with gold earrings.
Madonna’s appearance at the Grammys drew attention from fans who thought she looked noticeably different than usual.
The singer later admitted that she was annoyed by how people ignored her words and instead focused on her appearance.
On Instagram, he wrote: “Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the bravery of artists like Sam and Kim, many people chose to talk only about close-up photos of me taken with a long camera with a press photographer’s lens that would distort anyone’s face!!’
“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that pervades the world we live in.”
Madonna complained that she lived in a “world that refuses to celebrate women over 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong, hard-working and adventurous.” [sic].’
