Sam Faiers has revealed that he hasn’t shared a bed with his partner Paul Knightley for six years.

The former TOWIE star, 32, mother to Paul Jr, seven, Rosie, five, and Edward, eight months, said her boyfriend sleeps in separate rooms with different children.

speaking in the Parenting Hell Podcast she said: ‘Paul and I haven’t shared a bed in six years. We’re still in separate rooms.’

‘I’m in the guest room with Edward, who I recently tucked into the bunk, but he’s still in the room with just me.’

She then told hosts Josh Widdicome and Rob Beckett that her older children sleep in the master bedroom with their partner Paul and that it’s a routine the family has “just never gotten out of.”

Separate beds! Sam Faiers, 32, has revealed that he has not shared a bed with his partner Paul Knightley for six years.

‘Before [youngest child] Edward arrived, they were like two and two, like an adult and a child.

And we’ve never gotten out of it.

When asked how the couple had managed to have two more kids without sleeping together, Sam cheekily admitted that they still pulled off a nookie, saying, “You’ve got to be inventive, I guess.”

“In a way it works, but it’s getting a bit much now.”

She went on to discuss her reservations about re-sharing a bed with her boyfriend, whom she began dating in 2014.

I think about it and I’m not sure. Because obviously I love Paul, and I’m actually quite a loving person, but he’s a bit of a night owl. So I go to bed earlier and when he arrives it’s like a football recap.”

“It’s a big, bright (screen) and I don’t like sleeping with the TV on. If it was me and him, I’d turn the TV on and then leave it on and fall asleep.”

Last year, Sam admitted to feeling “a lot of pressure” to marry his long-term partner.

The reality star has said she’s never been in “a rush” to get married, but added that when they do, it’ll be nice to have her kids at the wedding.

Speaking on her podcast The Sam and Billie Show with her sister Billie, she said: “I get asked when we’re getting married all the time.” I just think, number 1, I don’t know what the rush is.

“We’ve had a lot of pressure from people who watch our show and people ask ‘why don’t you get married yet, when is it going to happen?’

“I know we will get married, but I am very grateful that we have everything we hope for and in our relationship, we have done the hardest (having children). It is a great challenge and change for a couple.

‘I know it’s not the right or right path, but it doesn’t matter. But we have done the hardest and we hope that the marriage will be a success and last forever!

I have never been in a hurry. Some people want to get married before having children but that was never on our agendas.

But I’m really looking forward to having all three of my children at the wedding, so I’m grateful that it happened this way. The more pressure is put on us, the more it pushes Paul away. And did you know that 42 percent of marriages end in divorce?

Billie then added, “It really shouldn’t be a pressure or a stigma, you have to do it when it suits you.”
