Samantha Armytage has won the Lotto, but she’s not resting on her laurels just yet.
The television personality shared her big win on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, showing off the handful of cash she’d collected through some gambling.
“I won the Lotto last Saturday night… I’m not going to stop anytime soon,” she joked with a photo of her winnings.
Sam won just under $8 – enough for a nice cup of coffee, but also enough to enjoy in her retirement.
Sam recently shocked fans when she decided to leave Seven and leave Farmer Wants A Wife. Now details have emerged about the new contract she turned down.
The former Sunrise star, 47, guest-hosted reality series FWAW in 2022, before ditching Natalie Gruzlewski to become its face in 2023.
A source now claims Sam threw in the towel after two seasons as presenter because Seven wanted to cut her huge salary, it was reported Women’s Day on monday.
“Sam wanted the same amount as Natalie Barr and Sonia Kruger,” the insider told the publication.

‘Sam was still getting money from an old morning show contract, which is not what you get these days as a reality show host.
“She asked what Sonia gets paid for three shows. That wasn’t going to happen. Seven just wasn’t enough money.”
They also said Seven refused to give Sam more “creative control” over the reality series, which the media personality also didn’t like.
Now, after 21 years at Seven, where her salary has reportedly risen to $500,000 a year, Sam’s agents are said to be in talks with Nine and Ten.
Ny Breaking Australia has reached out to Seven and Samantha Armytage for comment.

Despite losing her huge TV salary, Sam is the proud owner of several luxury properties in Australia, worth a combined $10 million.
In May she purchased her most recent home, a stunning three-bedroom, two-bathroom renovation project in Moss Vale, Southern Highlands.
Sam paid $1.3 million for the breathtaking estate, which is located 130 kilometres from Sydney and offers spacious rooms and stunning natural views.
The blonde beauty also bought a stylish investment property in Sydney’s trendy suburb of Rushcutters Bay in 2021 for $1,575.
This is a beautifully designed two-bedroom waterfront home located in an exclusive apartment complex in the city centre.
Sam also owns two other properties. One of them is a vacation home in Hyams that she bought for $3.2 million and now rents to vacationers for about $1,200 a night.
Meanwhile, Sam has also made a tidy profit from selling off some of her property portfolio, having sold her stunning North Bondi home for $3.15 million in July 2020.
The veteran presenter bought the home in 2014 for $2.15 million, meaning she made a significant profit once the sale was completed.

All in all, Sam’s impressive property portfolio is believed to be worth over $10 million, which could earn her something if she leaves Channel Seven.
Samantha announced her departure from the network last week after turning down a new deal with Seven, with her current contract expiring in October.
She described the departure as “sad and ambivalent” and told The Daily Telegraph she felt her time had come and was excited about her future.
“I’m big on instinct. I listen to my instincts. I know when the time is right. I pride myself on the fact that I back myself enough to say, ‘I’ve done what I can do here,’ and I’m moving on,” she said.
“This isn’t the end. It’s just the end of this chapter.”
Samantha will still be seen at the upcoming Logies, with her show Farmer Wants A Wife nominated for Best Structured Reality Programme. However, she will not be returning to present the next series of the show, which is currently in pre-production.
