Saltburn producer Margot Robbie parties with film star Barry Keoghan as she reflects on THAT 'disturbing' bathtub scene

Margot Robbie and Barry Keoghan partied the night away together at W Magazine's Annual Best Performances Party at Chateau Marmont on Saturday evening.

The Saltburn producer, 33, caught up with the psychological thriller's lead actor, Barry, 31, who plays troubled teen Oliver Quick in the film, at the star-studded party.

Margot, who looked stunning in a plunging black LBD, posed next to Barry at the party as awards season kicked off in Hollywood.

Barry is nominated for Best Actor at the Golden Globes for his role as Oliver in Saltburn, which is set Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Margot is nominated for Best Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy for her leading role in Barbie.

But before the ceremony takes place, Margot and Barry let loose during the magazine bash together with a host of stars, including Willem Dafoe.

During the evening, Margot looked typically flawless in her thigh-skimming dress, which she teamed with a pair of chic heels and a black and gold clutch bag.

Margot wore her signature blonde locks in a loose wave and accentuated her naturally beautiful features with a touch of makeup.

Meanwhile, Barry teased his toned physique in a semi-sheer black shirt, which he wore with black trousers and gold accessories.

The party takes place shortly after Margot addresses the Saltburn bath scene, which is one of the few moments in the film that has left viewers reeling.

In the shocking scene, Oliver is seen slurping the bathwater after his friend Felix took control while he was soaking in the bath.

The film follows Oliver, a researcher at the University of Oxford, who struggles to fit in with his fat friends, all of whom were raised with a silver spoon.

Oliver befriends and falls in love with Toff Felix, who invites him to his family's estate, Saltburn, for the summer.

But during one particularly lustful moment, Oliver tries to get to know his friend on a much more intimate level.

But while many were shocked by the graphic scene, Margot admitted she didn't even feel shocked by the film's proceedings.

She said: 'It didn't feel as jarring in the script because Emerald (Fennell) immerses you in a world so quickly. She is so masterful in tone and plot…

'She draws you in so quickly, you immediately think: 'I am in this world.' So by the time you get to something like the bathtub scene, she's prepared you for it.

Margot praised the way Emerald manages to “get into the brains of her audience” and claimed the scene is a “water cooler moment” that would get fans talking.

In an interview with Stream warsJacob also shared his thoughts on the controversial scene and praised Emerald for the idea.

He said, “I was just really excited when I read that scene because… you don't really see things like that in mainstream movies… very often.

“So it's just great that (Fennell) got to push those boundaries a little bit and expose people like that.”

The Euphoria star admitted that he has avoided others' reactions to the film, but did get a sense of viewers' thoughts on the bathtub scene during a screening.

“I haven't really heard much about it because I try to hide from it,” he explained.

“But I went to a screening of the film in Brisbane when it first played and it was incredible because everyone was engaged and gasping at the screen and shouting at the screen and all that.

'And I haven't been in a movie like that for a long time. So I haven't heard from the real ones yet… I mean, I hope there aren't any horrible stories, but yeah.”
