Real Housewives of Sydney star Sally Obermeder breaks down as she realises she has gotten off at the wrong station for Taylor Swift concert

Sally Obermeder had a bad experience when she tried to catch Taylor Swift at a concert this weekend.

The television presenter was heading to the pop star’s fourth concert at Accor Stadium but accidentally got off the train at Homebush.

She burst into tears and laughter as she explained she thought the show was at Homebush and not Olympic Park.

Sally soon realized her mistake when no other Swiftie was seen getting off at the same stop.

‘This sums me up. I’m more of a big picture person. Sometimes I skim the details,” she wrote in her caption alongside a video shared to Instagram.

‘And then I find myself in these situations: I got off at Homebush. Because that’s what I thought when people said: ‘Taylor Swift is performing at Homebush’.

Sally added that she is known for these types of mistakes.

“I sent this to Antonia from our team as she also saw me trying to board a Virgin flight with a Jetstar ticket last week,” she said.

“Didn’t you wonder where the other 80,000 people were?” someone asked in her comments.

She burst into a combination of tears and laughter as she explained that she thought the show was at Homebush and not the Olympic Park.

“There were other Swifties at the station doing the same thing. You are not alone!!’ said another.

It appears Sally ultimately made it to the gig, as she later shared footage from the stadium indicating she had arrived.

More than 600,000 people attended the Australian leg of Swift’s Eras tour – with a record 96,000 fans attending each of her three nights in Melbourne and a further 83,000 Swifties at each of her four shows in Sydney.
