Sally Field Reveals Tom Brady Was ‘Nervous’ While Filming 80 For Brady
Sally Field has high praise for Tom Brady’s performance in her new movie 80 For Brady.
“He was lovely,” the 76-year-old said in a cover story for People. ‘It was just Tom Brady. He was a completely charming human.
She added that he told her he was “very nervous” and didn’t know where to put his feet. Sally added, “But he was a natural.”
“Athletes get the same kind of adrenaline, except most actors don’t worry about having their limbs ripped off,” he added.
And Brady, who retired from the NFL on Wednesday, also praised Sally.
“That’s a serious compliment coming from someone so incredibly talented,” he told People.

“I learned a lot from Sally just by being in the same room with her and it was a true honor to work alongside her on this film. She is so much fun to be around and I loved the time I got on set with everyone,” she added.
The Hollywood legend stars in the comedy with Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and the Super Bowl-winning quarterback.
But the Brothers And Sisters star isn’t just praising Brady’s on-screen performance. She is also a fan of her antics on the field.
“I’ve been watching it,” the Norma Rae star said. “Once in a while, I’m like, ‘Oh, no, no.’ And then she does her Tom Brady thing, that this magic takes over.
“I was like, ‘How was that possible? How did you do that? You were behind, the team was behind. There was no way you would win,” he continued. ‘And there’s like 10 seconds left, bing, bang, boom, done. Won.’
And even before the news broke that Brady was retiring for the second time, and presumably the last, Sally was worried about him.
“I’m a little worried about Tom this year, I must say,” the Flying Nun star said. “I know he wanted another year, but I think he’ll probably come back for another one because I don’t think he’s happy with this year.” But that’s my feeling.
