Sally Field has revealed she still doesn’t know “what’s left” of her home after the deadly Palisades fire that destroyed her neighborhood.

The Forrest Gump star bought her Pacific Palisades home in 2012 for a reported $2.3 million, but was forced to evacuate last week, like many other Los Angeles residents.

The Oscar winner, 78, said in an Instagram post on Monday that she still “hasn’t seen what’s left of my house” but thinks it “may have” survived thanks to heroic firefighters.

In her post, Field shared the view from her home as the fire burned its way through the Pacific Palisades area on Tuesday, January 7, fueled by dry brush and winds gusting up to 100 miles per hour.

“This is the progression of what I’ve seen over the past week from the moment I could see the start of the fire from my backyard,” she said on social media, starting with a photo of brown smoking rising over a lush, green hillside .
