Salesian College scandal: Melbourne student expelled after making explicit AI images of female teacher
A Catholic boys’ secondary school student has been expelled after using artificial intelligence to create graphic images of a female teacher.
The 15-year-old from Salesian College in Chadstone in Melbourne’s south-east was expelled in May for creating the explicit images using an AI app.
The school immediately launched an investigation into the matter and took steps to expel the student.
The Salesian College continues to provide support to the affected teacher and emphasizes that it has received no complaints from parents.
However, some parents have since told the Herald Sun they were shocked and angry when they became aware of the student’s disgusting actions.

“It is very disturbing that this has happened and we sympathize with the teacher involved,” said one parent.
Another parent described AI as ‘evil’ and was concerned about using the technology in these types of situations.
The incident comes days after leading consent campaigner Chanel Contos called on all Australian high school students to take porn literacy classes.
Ms. Contos believes that the number of young teens accessing explicit material is a “public health problem.”
The campaigner said the ‘next step’ for secondary classrooms is for school leaders to talk about the dangers of pornography to pupils.
In February, more than 100 explicit private videos and photos of underage students were found on social media.
The footage and images came from both public and private schools and had been shared on various Instagram accounts without the students’ consent.
A blight on this type of activity was that last year students were caught posting doctored pornographic images of teachers on social media – and filming classroom fights amid an escalation of hatred towards teachers.
