Sakra World Hospital, a partnership between SECOM and Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC), will set up a facility in Banaswadi, Bengaluru, with an expected investment of Rs 1,000 crore. In addition, plans have been unveiled for a second-phase expansion, with a 1,000-bed facility.
Sakra’s new healthcare facility, spanning 600,000 square meters with 500 beds, highlights its commitment to advancing healthcare, both regionally and nationally. Scheduled for completion in 2026, the facility will integrate cutting-edge medical technologies and Indo-Japanese architectural design.
SECOM announced the opening of a comprehensive tertiary care unit, offering specialized services from advanced oncology to advanced rehabilitation programs.

The conference emphasized on specialized treatment procedures, including advanced oncology treatments, robotic surgeries and innovative rehabilitation programs, which will be offered in various super specialties at the upcoming facility.
Sakra, in partnership with SECOM and TTC, expects a revenue increase of Rs 500 crore by the end of 2024.
Sakra revealed to Business Standard its ambitious expansion strategy, which entails opening new hospitals on Sarjapur Road or Old Madras Road in Bengaluru within the next decade, besides entering Tier II cities. Additionally, plans include the development of a 50-bed boutique hospital in HSR Layout.
