Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy dies of cardiorespiratory arrest at 75

Sahara Group head Subrata Roy died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday, according to a company statement.

He was 75.

According to the company’s statement, he died at 10:30 PM due to cardiac arrest after a prolonged battle with complications from metastatic malignancies, hypertension and diabetes.

He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute on Sunday after his health deteriorated, it added.

“His loss will be deeply felt across Saharan India Pariwar,” the report said.
