Sadio Mane is said to have punched his teammate Leroy Sane in the face in the aftermath of Bayern Munich’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
The alleged altercation took place in the dressing room after the final whistle at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
Sane and Mane clashed on the pitch in the final stages of the match shortly after City took a three-goal lead through Erling Haaland.
This is reported by the German newspaper Imagethe discussion continued after the match with Mane being angry about the way Sane had spoken to him.
The 31-year-old Sane reportedly thrashed in the dressing room, while fellow Bayern players stepped in to break the pair up.
